Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certification means that no chemicals, pesticides or fertilizers are used in the production of the fabric and farmers work under safe conditions with an agreed fair wage with a total ban on child labor.
The factories have to use environmentally-friendly equipment and dyes. They also need to purify the water before draining it.
